In KeyDocs, is there a limit on the number of merge fields I can use?

Yes and no.  There is a limit of 12 fields per text box.  However, if you need more fields, simply create a new text box adjacent to the existing one.  For more information, please refer to the PDF Designer user manual (in the Client Care portal, this is under Documents -> User Manuals -> KeyDocs -> PDF Designer).
